We are pleased to announce that restaurants and cafes are open in Moffat, if you are planning a journey we strongly advise you book a table to avoid disappointment. Here at Dell-Mar Guesthouse the health and safety of our guests and staff are our top priority.
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to develop, we have in place stringent and thorough procedures to help protect our guests and staff.
While there are no affected cases here at Dell-Mar. We will remain cautious and will adhere to these strict hygiene procedures until the crisis is over.
We are fully stocked with all relevant cleaning and disinfection, (EN14476) products to help combat the spread of Coronavirus.
Having been awarded the "Good to Go" (accreditation by Visit Britain) and "Landlord little helper`s" cleaning school, this gives us the confidence that requires the health and safety processes in place to adapt our business in line with government and industry guidance to protect our guests, the local community and ourselves.
We are stopping the breakfast self-service buffet and other ‘open’ food service and offering table service only. We will split breakfast into time slots so that we can ensure social distancing is maintained.
In addition to our normal cleaning procedures, the main entrance, door handles, handrails and other key touch points are being sanitised and disinfected frequently.
Guest rooms are receiving additional cleaning upon departure paying particular attention to touch points. We have added hand sanitise to our public areas and all guest rooms.
If you are staying more than one night, housekeeping will not take place to keep the risk of contamination to a minimum. If you require anything we are more than happy to provide you, for example tea, coffee milk etc. If possible either text, Whats App, or phone 07734967697 with your requirements and these will be left outside your room.
We are now fully open for business, and we request that our guests follow our lead by example of hand washing thoroughly every hour, catching coughs or sneezes in a tissue and by reducing handshakes and other physical contact.
We hope you will not be unduly put off visiting our beautiful Victorian Guesthouse and the quiet Town of Moffat, and would advise you to check the Gov.UK website for the most up-to-date information here:
