The advantage of staying in Moffat is being close to the National Cycle Route 74, Running from Carlisle to South Lanarkshire, which also links up to the Southern Upland way. The world famous 7 Stanes Mountain Bike Trails are close by which span the whole of the South of Scotland, others include Ae and Marbie Trial.

Moffat Golf course is situated in the heart of the Southern up-land way. The 18 hole course is guaranteed to the keenest of golfer a stunning panoramic view. Many golfers would agree that there are some really testing holes full of natural undulations and hazards.
